Dr. Sarah Stephen Dr. Sarah Stephen is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Business Ethics. I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Business Ethics, where I pursue a GFF-funded project on understanding socially and environmentally responsible products in the financial services. Prior to this, I obtained my PhD in Economics from the University of Lausanne and have a multidisciplinary undergraduate and postgraduate background, encompassing life, physical, & social sciences and literature. My research interests and current research projects fall under three overarching themes: - Finance, society, and the environment: responsible investing (ESG/SRI/impact investing; shareholder activism), unethical behaviour & decision-making, corporate environmental performance, and societal and environmental issues. - Organisational and management theories: institutional theory, sensemaking theory, and cross-disciplinary theory building. - Quality of qualitative research & conducting systematic reviews in the social sciences.
