Title: Actualising the Philosophical Concept of Recognition for Human Resource Management
Abstract:
Tying up critically on Axel Honneth's theory of recognition I want to develop a philosophical grounded definition of the concept of recognition for Business Economics/Human Resource Management. I assume that a richer understanding of the concept will have positive impacts on developments, concerning the micro-, meso-, and macro-level of organisations. As I am interested not only in philosophical ideas but also in their practice, an applied part (qualitative research on examples of best practice) will follow on the theoretical basis of defining the concept.
