The Summit brings together approximately 10-15 excellent PhD students and early post-doc researchers who engage in research in the business and human rights field. It aims at sharing and developing their respective research projects in a collaborative manner. The goal of the conference is to connect the next generation of international BHR scholars and to provide a forum for them to share, challenge and develop their own ideas as well as those of the other participants.
The summit combines discussions of participants’ conference papers, guest lectures and networking opportunities among participants.
PhD-Conference
Participants share their research projects. Presentations are discussed by an interdisciplinary and international group of fellow scholars, academics and practitioners.
Guest speakers
Key note speakers from the field of business and human rights are invited to the conference. In addition, guests from academia and practice act as mentors during the workshop.
Networking
The summit provides excellent networking opportunities among the group of participants and mentors. Through the YRS Network, alumni and applicants to the summit stay in touch and have access to an ever bigger network of up and coming researchers in the BHR field.
