Henrietta Dorfmüller Henrietta Dorfmüller is a Research Assistant at the Institute for Business Ethics. Since June 2019, Henrietta Dorfmüller has been a research associate at the research project “The Swiss Commodity Sector as a Matter-of-Public-Concern: Inquiring Processes of Contestation, Justification and Change“. Henrietta Dorfmüller is doing a PhD, supervised by Prof. Dr. Florian Wettstein at the Institute for Business Ethics. Her research focuses on the intersection of the Swiss commodity trading sector and financial institutions. Her PhD will explore financial institutions’ role and responsibilities in financing commodity trading companies. Working on a study about human- and children’s rights risks in the cocoa supply chain at UNICEF Geneva & Côte d’Ivoire, as well as being employed for a trading company for vegetable oils, Henrietta was able to gain experience in the field of responsible business practices. Beforehand, she acquired first work practice at Kerkhoff Consulting and the Institute of Supply Chain Management at the University of St. Gallen when assisting in a consulting project on implementing sustainability standards in operational procurement processes. Henrietta holds a M.Sc. in Management with a focus on Strategy from HEC Lausanne and a B.Sc. in International Business (double degree) from EBS University and IÉSEG School of Management. Her Master thesis dealt with the problem of child labor in the cocoa sector in Côte d’ Ivoire.
