Dr. David Risi Dr. David Risi is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Business Ethics. David Risi received a doctor's degree from the University of St. Gallen with his work about the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in large firms. His research focused on how corporate responsibility departments drive forward the implementation of CSR. David's PhD thesis won the Academy of Management Social Issues in Management Best Dissertation Award 2017. His research has been published in practitioner-oriented outlets, edited volumes and leading refereed academic journals such as Business & Society and Journal of Management Studies, and the Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings. David is a lecturer at the School of Management and Law of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). For several years David worked as an analyst for sustainability reporting at a management consultancy. Since January 2019, David is a postdoctoral researcher at Oxford University (Saïd Business School). In 2015, David was a visiting researcher at York University (Schulich School of Business). David teaches organization and management theory, corporate responsibility/sustainability and business ethics at the bachelor as well as the (executive) master level.
