Dr. David Risi Dr. David Risi is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Business Ethics. David Risi’s work uses both empirical and conceptual methods and covers the fields of business ethics and organization and management theory. His research has been published in practitioner-oriented outlets, edited volumes and leading refereed academic journals such as Business & Society and Journal of Management Studies, and the Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings. He is the author of the book “Corporate Social Responsibility” (Elements in Business Strategy), published by Cambridge University Press in 2019. David's PhD thesis won the Academy of Management Social Issues in Management Best Dissertation Award 2017. David is a lecturer at the School of Management and Law of the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). For several years David worked as an analyst for sustainability reporting at a management strategy consultancy. In 2019, David was a postdoctoral researcher at Oxford University (Saïd Business School). In 2015, he was a visiting researcher at York University (Schulich School of Business). David teaches organization and management theory, corporate responsibility/sustainability and business ethics at the bachelor as well as the (executive) master level.
