The Executive Committee (GLA)

The Executive Committee (GLA) is the external oversight body of the Institute of Business Ethics. The members of the committee act as advisors and supervise the activities of the Management Committee. The following persons are members of the committee: Dr. Doris Aebi, Thomas Reschke, Dipl.-Kfm. Joachim Schoss, Barbara Gysi, Markus Anker, Daniela Merz, Prof. Dr. Kuno Schedler and Prof. Dr. Antoinette Weibel.

Thomas Beschorner is Professor of Business Ethics and Director of the Institute for Business Ethics. In addition to business ethics and general social issues, he deals with aspects of an ethics of digitalization as well as topics in the field of sports and ethics. He has published over 100 specialist articles and also writes regularly in "Die Zeit," "Zeit Online," "NZZ," "Spiegel Online," "FAZ" and other leading media in the German-speaking world.

Director of the Institute for Business Ethics at the University of St.Gallen

Martin Kolmar is professor of economics with a focus on applied microeconomics and director of the Institute for Business Ethics. He conducts research on the basis of neuroscientific and psychological findings on perception and behavior on normative fundamental questions of economics and society and also publishes journalistically in ZEIT, FAZ, SPIEGEL, NZZ, etc.

Florian Wettstein is Professor of Business Ethics and Director of the Institute of Business Ethics. His research focuses primarily on the interface between business ethics and human rights. Florian Wettstein is a member of the Board of the International Society of Business, Economics, and Ethics (ISBEE) and Editor-in-Chief of the Business and Human Rights Journal (BHRJ), published by Cambridge University Press.
