Accommodation

Hotel Meumi Palace, Bastos, Yaoundé

  • Hotel rooms: 45 euros/per person/per night (34 rooms booked)
  • Furnished apartment with two bedrooms: 55 euros/per person/per night (10 apartments booked)

There are a couple of other Hotels in the same neighborhood.

Accommodation at Meumi Palace Hotel cannot be paid online. There are only two options: 1. Include the payment in your registration fees (in that case, send an informational email to the organizers). 2. Pay directly in Yaoundé, either in cash or by credit card (Visa and Mastercard only!).

Shuttles

There will be shuttles between the International Airports of Yaoundé/Nsimalen and Douala,  and the Meumi Palace Hotel

Vaccines

No COVID vaccine or test is required to enter Cameroon.

A yellow fever vaccine is required to enter Cameroon.

Visa

Visas are free of charge and processed in Yaoundé by the Cameroonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Send a scanned passport to the organizers!

Visa stamps will be collected at Yaoundé and Douala International Airports. An EthicsLab team will help with the processing!

Safety Unit

A Cameroon police unit in plain clothes will ensure the safety of the shuttles and the hotels.

Emergency Medical Unit

The UCAC Emergency Medical Unit will oversee the entire conference. We will contact them in case of any medical emergency

Gala Dinner

The Gala Dinner will be held on June 13th from 7 pm to 10 pm in the Gymnasium of the Nkolbisson Campus of UCAC.

Attendees will include all speakers at the EthicsLab 5 th anniversary Conference, academic and administrative officials of UCAC, some special guests, participants in the second cohort of the Ethics Education Program who will receive their diplomas on the Ethics and Health Policy Certificate, and some Cameroonian public authorities.

Dress code desirable (business attire), not required
