Rose Wangui Kimotho successfully defends her dissertation at the University of St.Gallen.

Wangui conducts research at the intersection of business, human rights, and ethical corporate governance. In her dissertation, she examined key issues relating to the responsibility of global companies for structural harm – a topic that is particularly relevant in view of the ever pressing global challenges.

In addition to her academic work, Wangui brings extensive practical experience from international organizations and human rights institutions, including the Danish Institute for Human Rights and regional initiatives in East Africa.

Her work makes an important contribution to the further development of responsible corporate practices and a more equitable global economy.
